Kathryn Swimm , a third year law student at St. John’s University School of Law, focuses her study on international law. Kathryn currently serves as an Articles and Notes Editor with the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review. During the spring 2013 semester, she traveled to the Republic of Moldova in conjunction with the law school class Transactions in Emerging Markets. In addition, Kathryn spent the summer of 2012 in Buenos Aires working for an international intellectual property firm. Kathryn’s job included communicating with clients worldwide, assisting in trademark matters and acting as an intermediary with English speaking clients. In May 2013, Kathryn was selected to pilot the Foreign Legal Study and Exchange Program at the University of Glasgow for the Fall 2013 semester. Her interests include international law and intellectual property law.
